Our aim is to help our Archery and wider community in slowing the spread of COVID-19 and minimise the risk to our members, their families and volunteers.  Any further decisions will be made with their best interests in mind.  We need to protect the vulnerable in the Archery and wider community and social distancing is the recommended practice by the authorities during this challenging time.

Be vigilant about health and hygiene to minimise the risk of spreading infection by following simple hygiene practices:

  • Clean hands with soap and water often
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing or sneezing
  • Avoid contact with anyone who has flu like symptoms
  • Introduction of a non-contact greeting in lieu of close contact greetings e.g. handshakes

Thank you in advance for your patience and consideration during this challenging time.  We understand these hard decisions may not be the views of all our members but we have to act ethically and responsibly in our position.  We ask members to refrain from negative comments and to support the leaders who are making the hard decisions and following guided protocols.
