NSW GC R-Licence via ABA Membership

NSW GC R-Licence via ABA Membership

To get your NSW Game Council (GC) R-Licence through the Australian Bowhunters Association (ABA) you first must be a member of the ABA for a minimum of three months. The ABA is an Authorised Hunting Organization (AHO) under the GC requirements.

You can then sit the ABA’s Bowhunter Proficienct Certificate (BPC) Test. This can be done at club level with most ABA clubs having an officer capable of taking the BPC test. You do not have to join the club to do the test. A link to the list of ABA clubs can be found on the front page of this web site.

On passing the ABA BPC test application can then be made to the GC for an R – Licence. This can be done through an authorised tester, a list of which can be found on the GC web site, www.gamecouncil.nsw.gov.au or a form can be downloaded from the GC web site at: www.gamecouncil.nsw.gov.au/portal.asp?p=R-LicenceHowTo
