ABA100Thank you for your ongoing support as a valued member of the Australian Bowhunters Association.

Every year we undertake a mandatory and comprehensive review of our ongoing costs to run the Association. We have identified the need to review our membership fees and increase accordingly from 1 January 2019.

The last increase was 5 years ago and whilst we do all we can to make the membership affordable, we need to consider all factors – external environments & internal needs.
Your membership fee gives you:

  • Full personal insurance cover with $25m public liability coverage
  • Archery Action magazine 6 times per year (1 per household)
  • Membership to an elite archery organisation in Australia
  • An ability to claim game with an internationally recognised measuring system
  • Access to qualified coaches, measurers and bowhunting instructors
  • An integral part of the Archery Alliance that caters for cross-participation across four archery associations
  • Eligibility to participate in IFAA sanctioned eventsWe look forward to developing our sport further & keep archery active in Australia

The National Executive Committee

tradHappy New year Everyone,
It has been bought to our attention that there are rumours being circulated that the National Executive is planning to do away with the Traditional Division and Peg .  There is absolutely no truth to this rumour and the national executive supports traditional archers  and the traditional divisions in all its forms .
