must admit to thinking that mixing two styles of archery disciplines and doing both well is very difficult. I love shooting my recurve but I find that when I shot my compound again , Have gone backwards lots....
Think you need to settle on one style and do it. Or have fun and not be committed to anything special or very high scores. Bit hard for me I like to try to be competitive

I find that shooting recurve helps me in the consistency of my form, which aids me in my compound shooting. I have also found that shooting recurve helps with my distance judging. I often shoot both styles and dont have a problem with transition between the 2. Shooting 2 styles for me is more of a help than a hinderance.
